Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia Cycling Challenge

Join hundreds of regional and pro cyclists on September 14, 2014 as they take off from Old Trail Village in Crozet, Virginia. During the Challenge, you’ll course through the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are 25, 50, 75 and 100-mile routes, and an 8-mile family fun ride. Riders are treated to a finish line party including lunch, local wine and beer, and live music. Over the past eight years, the Cycling Challenge has grown into Virginia’s premier fall cycling event.

October 4, 2014:

Game Day Metric Tour 

The tour is the same Saturday as the Pitt vs. UVa football game.  The ride will have a tailgate atmosphere for a charitable cause: to provide scholastic funding for incoming and current college students. GameDay Metric Tour will feature two routes, a 30 and 62 mile route. Snacks will be available at the start, rest stops, and the finish line. The tour will begin just northeast of Charlottesville, VA and pass through the scenic rural landscapes in Albemarle and Orange counties.
