Speak Up for Cycling Priorities

by Bike Charlottesville on June 19, 2012

Bicycle advocate Ruth Stornetta, who sits on both the Bicycle Safety Committee and the Livable Communities Committee, requests and urges area cyclists to complete the Community Priorities Questionnaire by the July 2nd deadline.  The Livable Communities Committee created the questionnaire to collect the public’s input about the relative importance of various Charlottesville & Albemarle opportunities.

Your ranked priorities (1-10) will influence the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission’s Comprehensive Plan.  Your voice is vital to ensure that safe cycling is given due consideration and prioritization.

The one-page survey can be completed online at http://www.1-community.org/PDF/priorities_public_web2_distributed.pdf.

Take note: Question 2 is a forced ranking question.  There can only be one #1, one #2, one #3.  You get the idea.

If you have any difficulty submitting the form through your browser, save the file to your computer then email it to Summer Frederick at the TJPDC.  Or you could try a different browser.
